At 12 months: a deep velvety purple; good rich nose; full-bodied, substantial fruit and extract. 'Great potential'. Next at a Bin Club tasting in June 1992: fairly deep, lovely, soft, vanillin nose; intense, assertive, great length - earning an exceptionally high mark (appropriate for the price: GBP 3588.66 per dozen in bond duty free.
