ROME – FRANZETTI, Agapito, publisher (fl.1790s-c.1820s). [A collection of 36 engraved views of Rome.] Rome: Agapito Franzetti at Corso, [the plates dated between 1797-1800, but probably c.1820]. 2° (645 x 482mm). 36 engraved views by Pietro Ruga François Morel [i.e. Francesco Morelli], Vincenzo Feoli Vincenzo Balestra and Domenica Pronti. (Occasional faint spotting.) Contemporary half russia (extremities rubbed, spine more heavily with joints just starting to crack). Provenance : Hugh Lupus, 1st Duke of Westminster (1825-1899). cf. Brunet IV 1076; RIBA 2692. Sold as collection of plates, not subject to return.
