ROYAL EPHEMERA An embossed ticket for George IV's Coronation in Westminster Abbey, 1821; an embossed ticket stamp marked Dobbs of: "Admission to Browning's Gallery to View the Procession at the Coronation of His. Most Gracious Majesty George the Fourth," 1821; two embossed cards commemorating William IV and Queen Adelaide's: "Royal Visit to Guildhall," depicting cameo portraits, 1831-37; a silk book mark commemorating the Coronation of Queen Victoria in 1838; an embossed card containing cameo portraits of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, c. 1840; a collection of 8 Buckingham Palace musical programmes, by Ortner & Houle, four embossed paperlace, the others with chromolithographic gilt borders, 1879-97; two cards entitled: "The Windsor Pear [pair]", depicting a golden pear lifting up to reveal William IV and Queen Adelaide (one by J.T. Wood); and a quantity of other memorabilia including cameo medallions of various royalty and famous people. Provenance : From the collection of the late Lillian Newton Stone.
