Approximately 77 photographs (nearly all c.80 mm. x c.80 mm.), window-mounted on 12 card leaves (250 x 260 mm., most with manuscript captions in blue ink, in an album bound in burgundy cloth, gilt edges (some photographs faded or with light wear, cloth extremities rubbed). RUSSIAN IMPERIAL FAMILY -- An album of photographs, c.1901. Approximately 77 photographs (nearly all c.80 mm. x c.80 mm.), window-mounted on 12 card leaves (250 x 260 mm., most with manuscript captions in blue ink, in an album bound in burgundy cloth, gilt edges (some photographs faded or with light wear, cloth extremities rubbed). Provenance : Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia, Princess Nicholas of Greece, (1882-1957) Princess Olga of Greece (1903-1997, inscription recording provenance and then by descent to the current owner). A fine album of photographs from the collection of Princess Nicholas of Greece, Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, most taken by her on her own camera. These document a summer journey to Georgia with Queen Olga and Princes Andrew and Christopher of Greece, accompanied by Grand Dukes Georgii Mikhailovich and Mikhail Nikolaevich. The party sailed from Novorossisk to Batumi, and travelled to the spa town of Borzhomi, Likan, and Abastumani.
