S22; Lower Coping Stone – This was the only Lower Coping Stone to be taken from the south face of the parapet. It was removed from the third crenel where it had supported the third and fourth merlons. The inside of the stone was embedded with three distinctive safety spikes to deter people from leaning over the edge of the tower.
