A JEWELLED BINDING SET WITH 137 JEWELS, BY RIVIERE AND SON, red morocco elaborately gilt, a border of blue and red morocco around a wider border of green morocco, set with 22 gilt decorated and jeweled white morocco Tudor rose designs, each with a in the center, around a gilt lettered border from Keats' epic poem, Endymion: "A thing of beauty is a joy for ever" around an elaborate green morocco panel with an all over floral and leaf design with white morocco inlays, each corner set with blue morocco heart, connected to next inner panel by two purple hearts at end of a central oval redish morocco design embellished by 6 white morocco Tudor rose designs each set with 6 red stones , and connected through brown morocco branches with green, red and brown morocco leaves, around a gilt decorated green morocco panel and a centering circular sunk-in panel with the initials "JK" executed in metal and decorated with 79 small pearls, lower cover with a central urn of black and brown morocco with gilt design, on a red morocco panel surrounded by a wide border of gilt Greek-key and palmette designs on blue and brown morocco inlays, spine in six compartments, gilt lettered in three others filled with matching design of gilt and multi-colored morocco inlays; doublures of red, blue and a large central panel of gray morocco with an all over gilt design, stamp-signed on the front turn-in: "Bound by Riviere & Son," silk linings; black morocco silk-lined clamshell case.
