Scarce Moe Berg single signed baseball (1934 U.S. Tour of Japan Member and U.S. Intelligence Officer) (PSA/DNA 7 NM) Cream color Harridge AL baseball signed, boldly, by Moe Berg on the side panel in blue fountain pen rating 8/9 out of 10. The ball itself presents with uniform light natural toning in unused condition. Berg enjoyed a fifteen year career within Major League Baseball but is most remembered for his service as a United States intelligence officer during and after the famed 1934 U.S. All-Star Tour of Japan. He attended Princeton University and Columbia Law School earning him a reputation as the "brainiest player in baseball". Berg additionally served as a U.S. spy in Yugoslavia and Italy investigating the Nazi nuclear weapons development program. Includes full LOAs from JSA and PSA/DNA (7 NM): NM
