Scarce Sizilien. "Il Regno de Sicilia" (Kopftitel). Kupferstich-Karte (von D. Bertelli) bei S. Scolari, Venedig, um 1650. 34:44 cm. Bifolco/Ronca (2018) Taf. 1059.2; dies. (2014) Taf. 143.2: "Abrasa la firma del Bertelli"; vgl. Dufour/Lagumina S. 97 u. 293 (EA). - Sehr seltene Karte im 2. und letzten Zustand. Erstmals von Donato B. mit dem Titel "Isola de Sicilia" um 1580 hrsg. Mit Wasserzeichen 3 Halbmonde (s.u.). - Gering fleckig, Bug leicht leimschattig. Scarce map in its second and final state, with title changed, address erased and with 'Stefano Scolari F. in Venetia a S. Zulian' added at bottom. First published by Donato Bertelli in c.1570/80 with title 'Isola de Sicilia'. "L'opera è assolutamente rara, ne sono censiti pochissimi esemplari... Collezione Spagnolo-Patermo (&) Bibliothèque Nationale " (B./R.). - With watermark "Three crescents in a row" (Woodward 144 mentioning Scolari). - Uncol. Minor spotting, light discolouration from paste at centerfold.
