This version of the Cosmographia became one of the most popular books on the subject of the time. Abundantly illustrated with woodcuts in the text and some full-pages - of which 4 globes with volvelles -, a double-page world map "Charta Cosmographica", a large globe on the title-page and historiated or ornemental initials.
