FIRST EDITION, LIMITED TO 200 COPIES of which this is number 83, signed by the authors on the limitation leaf. Sclater provided the description of each of the 434 species of Argentine birds featured, whilst Hudson wrote the detailed notes on their habits. Hudson's portion of the text was reprinted in 1920 under the title of Birds of La Plata .
