Serbia, Albanian Retreat Medal 1915; War Commemorative Medal 1914-18 (4); Albanian Retreat Medal 1915 and War Commemorative Medal 1914-18 pair (1), with ribbon, extremely fine (7) £100-140 Footnote Single Albanian Retreat Medal in card box. With Huguenin Frères, Le Locle envelope inscribed, ‘No. 19 M. J. Rosa Jones’. Single War Commemorative Medals in card boxes. With Huguenin Frères, Le Locle envelopes inscribed, ‘No. 15 B. B. MacKlade’ and “No. 18 Private W. George’; two others in envelopes bearing no manufacturer’s name, inscribed, ‘No. 29 D. Anne Ladbrook’ and ‘No. 31 T. Felton’. Envelopes old / damaged / worn. Deborah Anne Ladbrook was awarded the R.R.C. London Gazette 1 January 1919 for services in Salonika. R.R.C. sent to the Nursing Institute, The Tything, Worcester, 22 September 1920. The pair with a slip inscribed, ‘No. 13 J. T. Mitchell’. It is surmised that these are unissued medals from an old store.
