This is a rare antique Seth Thomas "Empire No. 6" brass crystal regulator mantel clock c. 1900. This has a brass and glass case with beveled glass on all sides. It has a round brass Seth Thomas 48N mechanical time and strike movement with Cathedral coil spring gong chime, which chimes once on the half hour and the correct amount of times on the hour. The dial is a porcelain dial with decorative floral designs. It is signed "Seth Thomas." Condition: No damage or repair to the case, the porcelain dial shows little wear, and the clock is working.
