Original black paper wrappers (backstrip lacking), 20th-century cloth box, red morocco lettering-piece on upper cover. Provenance : pencilled note in an unidentified hand at foot of second page of 'Advertisement'). A VERY RARE trial issue/prospectus for a work which was never published. Broinowski's copy in the Mitchell Library appears to be the only other example; together with four others of ornithological interest. (8)
