Rodelheim, 1835. Engraved frontispiece - illustration of angels and an altar, and the word "Lesivlonot" (engagement present for the bride). At the top of the frontispiece are paper appliques representing two red, white, and blue Dutch flags. The flags are inscribed with the words "At this time next year Sarah will have a son" [Hebrew year 5596 (1836) in gematria code]. Stamped on the binding are the title "Siddur Lesivlonot" and the name of the bride - Sar'ka bas R. Asher (the name is stamped upside-down on the cover; evidently an error made when the siddur was rebound). On the front endpaper is a handwritten list of births. [1], 4, 136, [2], 137-224, 36, 45-96, 95-104, 36, 92, 12, 8 leaves. 20 cm. Fair condition. Stains and wear. Original leather binding (repaired), with decorative silver clasp. Not in NLI and not listed in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book.
