SIGMUND VON BIRKEN (1626–1681) SPIEGEL DER EHREN DES HÖCHSTLÖBLICHEN KAYSER- UND KÖNIGLICHEN ERZHAUSES OESTERREICH Starting price: 25 000 CZK (943 EUR) Hammer price: 25 000 CZK (943 EUR) Description dimensions: 33 x 24 x 11,5 cm (h x w x d) period: 1668, Germany, Nuremberk The bulky storiated history and the genealogy of the Habsburgs from 12th century till the contemporary present. The engraved frontispiece, 2 bifoliate copper engraving boards, 8 boards with portrait painting and around 200 copper engravings in the text. The contemporary binding is from pigskin on a wooden slabs. It is richly decorated on the front and on the back side by blind printing and with a Jesuit supralibros. On a spine of the book there are two gilded labels with description. Both of the metal fasteners were renovated.
