A silver presentation cigarette case, with back etching To Sammy, from Charlie Chaplin. The front of the case reads F Corradini in relief, with engraved floral design. The back also features the engraved signatures of nine other vaudeville stars, including Ed Wynn (actor), Ernest R. Ball (songwriter), Ben Welch (comic), Gus Edwards (songwriter), Nat M. Wills (monologist), and Charley Grapewin (best known for his role as Dorothy's Uncle Henry in The Wizard of Oz). Spring loaded case opens up and has two protective cigarette holders for either side of the case. One is marked Sterling 31. Case measures approx 3.5 x 3 in. It is unclear who the recipient, Sammy, is. Condition: Excellent condition.
