(4), 30c. (4), 45c. (4), 60c. (4), $1 (4) and H.K. print 25c. (8), 30c. (4) and 50c. (4) making a total of $15.80, all tied by Tihwa (Urumtsi) c.d.s., another strike in purple for censorship and fine Chengtu arrival (8.10); the address side is marked with the manuscript registration number and the weight " 110g" . Some soiling, nevertheless an important cover which appears to have been accepted at the old rates (prior to 1st June) of postage $3, registration $1 and airmail of $1 per 10 g ($11). The sender was Sinkiang District Head Post Office, so this official mail should have applied the correct postage. Photo
