SIX EARLY LACQUER INRO Edo Period (17th Century) A two-case inro decorated in gold hiramakie , aogai and gold leaf on roironuri ground with hares among foliage on a nashiji ground with lead inlay, fundame interiors, signed Shoritsusai ; a four-case inro decorated in iroe hiramakie , hirame and aogai with fishing nets and waves on a roironuri ground, nashiji interiors, fundame rims; a three-case inro decorated with hares running in aogai and gold togidashie outline on a roironuri ground, silver runners, roironuri interiors, fundame rims, some old damage; an early four-case inro decorated in gold hiramakie , takamakie , kirikane and aogai inlay with horses by a stream in a mountainous landscape on a nashiji ground, nashiji interiors; a four-case inro decorated in gold hiramakie , takamakie , togidashie and kirikane on a nashiji ground with chidori flying over rocks and turbulent waves, fundame interiors, signed Koma Kyuhaku saku ; and a four case inro decorated in gold hiramakie , takamakie , kirikane and aogai inlay on a roironuri ground with a house by a shore and mountainous landscape, roironuri interiors, signed Harumasa and sealed, some old wear 2.3/8in.
