includes a Samson hard paste porcelain figural box, ca 1880, with brass fittings and faux Chantilly red hunting horn mark. Unusual box depicts a medieval man and woman in bed with chintz coverlet. Bottom of the box has enameled spray of flowers & inside is decorated with enameled insect, 3.25" long x 2" across x 1.75" tall; PLUS a German, hard paste porcelain, hinged box with brass fittings & transfer-printed courting scene on top & enameled floral sprays around the bottom. With underglaze blue crossed swords type mark, ca 1890, 3.5" long x 2.75" across x 1.75" tall; PLUS cobalt-enameled, round, hinged trinket box with transfer-printed basket of white roses on top. Inside lid marked with impressed 935SM in oblong reserve & stamped 1 and 13, 2.5" diameter x .75" tall; PLUS a brass-fitted, hinged, round pomade box with transfer-printed courting scene on lid, 2" diameter x 1.5" tall; PLUS a rectangular, lidded, hard paste porcelain box with cobalt underglaze, polychrome overglaze floral decoration, and blue underglaze Meissen crossed swords mark, 3.5" x 2" x 1"; AND a round, lidded, hard paste porcelain box with hand-painted stylized orange lily on lid & red 6 mark on bottom.
