Title: Six Months' Residence and Travels in Mexico; Containing Remarks on the Present State of New Spain, it natural productions, state of society, manufactures, trade, agriculture, and antiquities, &c. With 16 aquatint plates, including folding frontispiece panorama and 4 hand-colored costume plates; 2 folding plans; folding table. (8vo) later half morocco and cloth, spine gilt. First Edition. William Bullock, a traveler, naturalist, and antiquarian, went to Mexico in 1822, where he was well received by the authorities, aided in his researches, and received from the Mexican government a gift of the silver mine of Del Bada near Themascaltpec. From this tour Bullock brought home many valuable curiosities. Notable in the present work, in addition to the text, are the aquatint illustrations, including a folding panorama of Mexico City.
