Aedes Hartwellianae, or Notices of the Manor and Mansion of Hartwell, [and] Addenda to the Aedes Hartwellianae, 2 volumes, London: printed for private circulation by John Bowyer Nichols and Son, 1851-64, first volume with 13 maps, plates etc. as listed (including one hand-coloured), 2nd volume lacking plates, numerous wood-engraved illustrations to both volumes, variable spotting, first volume front pastedown with ink manuscript presentation inscription from both the author and Dr. Lee (the owner of Hartwell House), and with armorial bookplates of Captain William Henry Smyth and of [Dr. Lee], contemporary cloth, 2nd volume faded and stained, both rebacked, 4to, together with: Smedley (Frank E.), Last Leaves from Beechwood, by the late Frank E. Smedley, edited by William Brailsford, Enfield: J.H. Meyers, 1867, two mounted photographs (one as frontispiece), tipped-in printed & manuscript errata slip, final page toned, front free endpaper with ink manuscript presentation inscription 'Charles Edward Smedley, with his Aunt Fanny's love - in affectionate remembrance of the author', original blind-stamped green cloth, front cover with central gilt leaf, lightly sunned spine gilt-lettered, a trifle rubbed, slim 8vo, plus: [Bentley, Richard], Some Stray Notes upon Slough and Upton collected from various sources, privately printed, 1892, 7 maps and illustrations as listed, final page toned, modern tan quarter morocco, tall 8vo, (limited edition, one of 200 copies), with 9 others Buckinghamshire-related and similar, including: The History of Denham Bucks ..., by the Rev.
