Contemporary table lamp by Somers Stained Glass makes outstanding use of heavily textured as well as mottled glass. The textured pieces of glass give a three-dimensional feel to many of the Hollyhock flowers while the heavily mottled green glass gives life to the leaves. The Hollyhocks encircle the entire cone-shaped shade and are set against a background of mottled white, purple and green glass. The shade is marked with an applied tag "ORIGINAL SOMERS STAINED GLASS DEER PARK NY". The shade is finished with bronze bead trim around the bottom. The shade rests on a bronze tree trunk base with three-socket cluster. The lamp is complete with a cast bronze cap with ventilation holes.
