regulation uniform with falling collar, pointed cuffs and four patch pockets having strong fabric and khaki color, in virtually mint unissued condition. Complete with 5 Scoville marked "chicken" eagle buttons down the front secured with brass rings with one smaller on each of the pleated pockets. Unlined interior stamped Received/A.J.Riggs/Inspector/Q.M.S.N.Y. Upper left inside pocket contains 3 pairs of detachable issue cloth shoulder epaulettes for infantry (white), artillery (red) and a white/khaki combination that clip on with hooks-and eyes. These tunics saw considerable use in the Philippines and with US occupation troops in Cuba. An uncommon example of the uniform worn during America's "Big Stick" period in absolutely pristine condition. Condition: EXC, with one spot on right arm above elbow.
