Beschreibung:

The long rectangular wooden two story house on a wooden base, with over hanging second floor, pitched roof with painted shingle effect, four dormer windows to front and four to the rear, and six stack chimney's, having a painted brick design around base, and thick painted pargeting to walls, with ornamental scenes from the four continents of the world, the facade second floor with four bay windows, each with finely painted glazing bars, and seven smaller windows to first floor, six large windows to rear with faux-leaded panes, left side with five windows, the right side with ornate features and bay window, opens in four wings to four rooms, hallway and landing with stair case, on two levels, the paneled rooms having fireplaces, red brick flooring and half timbered ceilings, (pieces missing from one chimney, chips and cracks to roof, pieces of plaster missing to right side and rear), 61cm (24in) tall, 68.5cm (27in) wide, 30.5cm (12in) deep. (This house is a model of the actual Sparrowe's house of Ipswich, built in 1567 and is believed to be one of about twenty Sparrowe's houses, made by F.Tibbenham, Limited. Other examples of this house exist in the Sparrowes House museum, Ipswich and The Strong museum in Rochester, New York. )
