Publiées par le Bureau des Longitudes Author: Damoiseau de Montfort, Marie-Charles-Theodore, Baron Place: Paris Publisher: Bachelier Date: 1836 Description: [4], xviii, 232 pp. (4tp) 25x19.5 cm (9¾x7¾"), later cloth-backed mottled boards. First Edition. This copy belonged to Auguste Baron de Spiessen, with his ink signature on half-title. Below that is a pencil note "All the Errata collected by Todd at the end of his 'Continuation' (1876) have been corrected in this copy." The corrections are in pencil in the margins, neatly executed, and in addition there are a number of ink manuscript tables laid in, along with additional notes, making this a unique and quite significant copy. Lot Amendments Condition: Minor wear to covers, hinges cracking; very good. Item number: 287917
