Arabic manuscript on paper, 42 leaves, 17 lines to the page written in elegant naskhi script in black ink, titles and significant words picked out in blue, red or gold, margins ruled in blue and gold, catchwords, one illuminated title page in colours and gold incorporating a central medallion with the title and the name of the author written in thuluth script in white, outer borders with seal impression and inscription of former owner, rather browned, lower border frayed and stained, detached, later patterned paper covers; and Kitab al-Rahbah, on inheritance, copied by Ahmad bin Mas'ud al-Nabulsi, probably Persia, dated 17th Sha'ban 879/AD 1474, Arabic manuscript on paper, 8 leaves, 17 lines to the page written in two columns of elegant naskhi script in black ink, titles in blue or red, margins ruled in blue or gold, one illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, lower outer borders stained and frayed, later patterned paper covers 165 x 120 mm.(2)
