Taryn Simon est une artiste américaine dont l’œuvre mélange photographie, texte et graphisme pour questionner la production et la circulation de la pensée, comme la frontière entre réalité et fiction. Son travail a été l'objet de plusieurs expositions monographiques organisées par des institutions culturelles majeures comme le Jeu de Paume, Paris (2015), l’Ullens Center for Contemporary Art de Pékin (2013), le MoMA de New York (2012), la Tate Modern de Londres (2011), la Neue National galerie de Berlin (2011) ou encore le Whitney Museum of American Art de New York (2007).

‌Taryn Simon is an American artist whose work mixes photography, text and graphics to question the production and circulation of thought, as well as the border between reality and fiction. Her work has been the subject of several monographic exhibitions organised by major cultural institutions such as the Jeu de Paume, Paris (2015), the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing (2013), the MoMA in New York (2012), the Tate Modern in London (2011), the Neue National galerie in Berlin (2011) or the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York (2007).
