Beschreibung:

The Autocar, 1927 - 1930. Eight hardbound quarto volumes in half-leather and black cloth, with gold lettering/banding to the spines, ex-libris The Veteran Car Club of Great Britain, containing the issues from Vol. LVIII, No. 1,627, Jan 7th, 1927 to Vol. LXV, No. 1,834, Dec 26th, 1930. The run appears to be complete and sound, but the issues have page-browning through age and are bound without their advertisements and covers. All the volumes have re-enforced front and rear hinges, and each has a title page and index bound in at the front, with some index pages loose, and with an extra modern title page/index to Vol. LVIII loosely inserted with that volume. The bindings are worn, with some spines loose and the surface very rubbed and marked. Nevertheless, a valuable historical motoring resource for the period. (8)
