The Booke of Falconrie or Hawking, [1611]; The Noble Art of Venerie or Hunting, [1611], 2 works bound in one, second editions, black letter, large woodcut illustration on titles, numerous woodcut illustrations throughout, both titles trimmed with loss of date imprint, first work without blank Aa4, D2 shaved at foot touching signature, second work lacking last 2 leaves of musical notes (R1-2), and one blank preliminary leaf, M8 defective, approximately 10 leaves with small marginal tears resulting in some losses of neatlines, several early ownership inscriptions including John McIlvaine, and Hamilton Raplock on first title, a few ink annotations in the margins ("How to buy a new feather when ye old on is spoyled", "pills to purge men with"), contemporary calf, rebacked [STC 24325 & 24329; Schwerdt II, p.271-272; Harting 15], small 4to, Thomas Purfoot
