The exceptional collection in 9 and albums offered intact, unused and used, with specialised ranges from 1852 to 1946 with essays, proofs and specimens, issued stamps, multiples and covers, Used Abroad, overprints with Bahrain, British East Africa, Burma, Kuwait etc; including 1852 "Scinde Dawk" white, a good range of 1854 essays, proofs and reprints including 1890 Lion and Palm tree design (2) and 1922 on card (5), Thulliers essays (5), ½a. 9½ arches in the vermilion shade; 1854 ½ anna, a selection including an unused block of four and pair, a fine used strip of three from die I; 1 anna, a selection including an unused block of four and pair, a fine used strip of three from die I; 2 anna with unused and used pairs; 4 anna with all printings represented mostly with fair to good margins (15), including a pair on piece from the 5th printing, cut round at top and foot and a fake 4 anna cover; a good range of East India issues with unused 4a. and 8a. on blued paper, imperf. ½ anna (2, one used with cert.) and unissued 2 anna green with small portion of trial cancel; later issues including 1882-88 ½ anna and 2 anna double impressions - both with faults, 1898 ¼ anna double surcharge and double print; Edward VII unused and used to 25r.; George V with interesting varieties inlcuding 1921 Nine-Pies surcharge double rejoined block of twenty with cert. and two essays, ¼ anna varieties and both sets to 25r. unused; George VI to 25r.; C.E.F. including unissued and I.E.F.
