Robertson Financial Secretary to the Governments of Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Federation of Nigeria (a) The Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, Companion (C.M.G.), neck Badge, silver-gilt and enamel, in Garrard, London , case of issue (b) The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Commander (C.B.E.), Badge, 2nd. type, Civil Division, silver-gilt and enamel, in its case of issue (c) 1939-45 War Medal; 1937 Coronation and 1953 Coronation Medals; Efficiency Decoration, G.R.I., this a contemporary copy, the group extremely fine (d) The group of five associated miniature awards, the Efficiency Decoration G.VI.R. (e) Silver cigarette case ( Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1931-2 ), the cover inscribed "To A. R. W. Robertson From the Officers of the Gold Coast Territorial Force January 1931" (f) A shaped circular silver salver ( Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1930-31 ), inscribed with seven signatures (27 oz. troy) (g) A signed polo-ball 'trophy' on wood stand with silver plaque inscribed "To Captain A. W. R. Robertson as a token of esteem from the Suva Polo Club 1947" (h) A large quantity of original documents including - C.M.G. Bestowal Document (1953) - East Sussex Division Civil Defence Corps Warden's Certificate (1960) - Various Colonial Identity Cards, Driving Licences, and Passes for the period 1929-1949 including a pass to travel in the United States, and visitors passes to the U.S. Senate Chamber and House of Representatives, (1943) - Numerous invitations, menues, seating plans etc. relating to social functions, letters and official correspondence relating to Colonial Administration and many other personal items, rations books, coupons, tickets etc. - a Photograph of the recipient in uniform, and a Staff-car Pennant (lot)
