(8vo) old full red straight grain morocco, bordered in gilt and blind, spines gilt, wide raised bands, all edges gilt. "A New Edition." An attractive and profusely illustrated set, of which the first eight volumes are by Hume, with Smollett contributing the final five. A handsome mid-19th century binding. Lot Amendments Condition: Spines sunned, a bit of wear, cracking to some hinges; very good. Item number: 277977a
