Fontaine of the French Library and Museum of the Great War, thanking Hanna for forwarding a copy of his book to him, along with a 1920's newspaper cutting re. the failure of the Suvla Bay landings. Henry Hanna K.C. (1871-1946) was born in Belfast and educated at Belfast Royal Academy and Queen's University, Belfast. Called to the Irish bar, 1896, he was made K.C., Ireland, 1911, and subsequently had a distinguished career in the legal profession, being a Judge of the High Court of Ireland, 1929-43.
