First Edition. Inscribed and signed by the author on August 19th, 1893, on verso of half title. The bright gilt pictorial front cover depicts three miners at work. Cowan p.30; Howes B67. Lot Amendments Condition: Some rubbing and soiling to covers, spine a bit sunned, with frayed ends, frontispiece with foxing and offsetting; very good. Item number: 261236
