THE PROPERTY OF A GENTLEMAN 1951 VINCENT COMET 500cc SOLO MOTORCYCLE Registration No. NRL 391 Frame No. F5 AB 2A 195654 Engine No. F5 AB 2A 5654 This extremely original Comet with its matching frame and engine numbers has had very little use since purchased by the current owner in about 1955. It was initially used in rotation with some other Vincent motorcylces as daily transport when the weather was fair in travelling to work, this was only for a few years. The bike has not been used on the road since about 1968 and since that time had remained in a heated garage. The bike had not been ran in the past 10 years, but started on the first kick this past month and can best be described as in good original condition and is a fine example of this classic British marque.
