Very Pleasant and Beneficial to all Ingenious Persons of the Female Sex, 2 parts in 1, first edition, initial blank, imprimatur f., engraved frontispiece (depicting 5 kitchen scenes), 1p. advertisements at end, extensive later ink notes to initial blank, imprimatur f., verso of title, rear blanks and periodically throughout text, a few ff. closely trimmed at head, occasionally just touching a running title, occasional spotting, lacking pastedowns, contemporary calf, rebacked, [Bitting p.504 (note); Cagle 1062; Oxford p.35; Vicaire 878; Wing W3282], 12mo, Printed for R.Lowndes, at the White Lion in Duck-Lane, near West-Smithfield, 1670. *** The rare first edition.
