Greg Irons (1947-1984) is probably best remembered as a concert poster artist, but he did some of his best work for the undergrounds: Skull Comix and Slow Death. He also spent time as an animator on the Beatles' Yellow Submarine: "I got a gig working on Yellow Submarine as an art slave, and that was good in terms of money." —Patrick Rosenkranz, Rebel Visions: The Underground Comix Revolution, 1963-1975.
