First edition. With one portrait of Georges Auric by Jean Cocteau 1 photoillustration of Braque by Man Ray (misspelled Man Rey!), a facsimile page from Auric's score. Text by Louis Laloy. Diaghilev's production of Les Facheux, a ballet based on a comedy by Molière, premiered in January 1924 in Monte Carlo under the supervision of Boris Kochno, with choreography by Bronislava Nijinska and an original score by Georges Auric; the sets and costumes were designed by Georges Braque The first 40 copies were printed on "Holland van Gelder" and 70 copies "hors commerce".
