The superb collection of perforated 1d. issues in green album, including marginal imprimaturs (20), comprehensive range of unused with a good number of multiples with very fresh 1855 LC 14 block of four with much original gum, also a single handstamped "SPECIMEN", superb ranges of used with multiples (some on cover), cancellations including an example on part entire with black Maltese Cross, example off cover with fine blue Maltese Cross, 1855 envelope bearing SC16 tied by very light red numeral cancellation (B.P.A. Certificate 1959), 1856 entire bearing example tied by superb strike of the 'Madeleine Smith' datestamp in green, other types off cover include red London "NW/15" part duplex, violet part Scottish numeral, good range of 'Spoons', varieties with 1855 (June) LC14 imperf., 1856-58 LC14 imperf., good number of watermark inverted, perf. shifts, etc.; an excellent basis for continuation.
