Thirteen miscellaneous glass vessels Roman and Sasanian Periods, circa 1st-5th Centuries A.D. Including a small Roman aubergine glass feeder flask with side spout, 37/8in. (9.9cm.); a Roman pale blue poppy flask with a bulbous body, set on a short flared foot, with a tall neck with flared mouth, 4½in. (11.5cm.); a Roman green glass double balsamarium with applied handles, 4in. (10.2cm.) high, some stress cracks; a Roman green glass jug with a barrel-shaped body, wide disc rim and thick applied handle, 4¾in. (12cm.), repaired and restored; a Sasanian green glass pear-shaped flask with vertical ribbing and an applied loop handle, 4½in. (11.4cm.) with heavy iridescence; a Sasanian pale brown glass bottle with a pushed-in base, rounded shoulder, tall neck and infolded rim, 6in. (15.2cm.); and seven Roman green and blue glass unguentaria of various sizes, the largest with a bell-shaped body, the long neck pinched-in at the base, with a double folded rim, 71/8in. (18.1cm.) high, all with some iridescence; and three other items including an Egyptian blue glazed composition amulet imitating a jug with a ribbed piriform body, 17mm. chipped; a Roman red glass miniature lamp, 23mm; and a Byzantine dark blackish-green glass pot with cut-off rim, 15/8in.
