Thomas Brown Birmingham, a George III mahogany bracket clock, the bell top case with handle and four acorn finials, the 8inch enamelled dial (chipped) with strike/silent to the arch, calendar dial below the centre, signed, with Roman numerals and Arabic seconds, mounted gilt spandrels, the twin fusee 5 pillar movement signed to the engraved backplate, with anchor escapement (probably a conversion from verge), the case with breakarch glazed panel sides and rear door, the front corners with trailing flower mounts, pull repeat cord, all raised on cast brass feet, 53cm with handle folded Estimate £1,000-1,500 dial chipped and worn; some cracks, knocks and losses to case. Movement untested.
