Three late 19th/early 20th-Century microscopes, one by SPENCER LENS CO. Buffalo, N.Y. 18049 , lacquered and ebonised brass, draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, triple nosepiece, substage diaphragm and plano-concave mirror, one eyepiece, three objectives, in a fitted mahogany case -- 36cm. (14 1/8in.) high ; another by J. LIZARS GLASGOW "ALPHA" C - VI 12408 , ebonised and lacquered-brass, draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, triple nrosepiece, substage diaphragm and condensor with vertical adjustment, and plano-concave mirror, two eyepieces, two objectives, and maker's ivorine plaque on the inside of the door of the fitted pine case -- 31.7cm, (12½in.) high ; and one by BAUSCH & LOMB OPTICAL CO. Rochester N.Y. USA , broken at the compass joint, with one eyepiece and Bausch & Lomb , 2/3 and 43x objectives, the last with patent date 1925, in a pine case (3)
