Bontekoe, Leeuwarden, circa 1745, the snuff-box mark of C. van Hoek, Amsterdam, 1806 Each octagonal, the first engraved with drapery and tassels, the hinged cover with the Prince of Orange and inscribed WCHF PVO , the second with foliage, the third plain, the snuff-box decorated with raised elegant household scenes and flowers, marked on bodies 5.5 cm. long and smaller 87 gr.
