Tiffany & Co., New York. A fine 18K enameled gold open face dress watch with Masonic dial Date: Circa 1929 Movement: 21-jewel manual winding, bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring, signed, C. H. Meylan, No. 3412 and with Cressarrow trademark Dial: Matte silvered, gilt numerals represented by the working tools of the various degrees of Freemasonry, subsidiary seconds, gold Breguet hands Case: With blue and white champlevé bezels, polished snap back with elaborate scroll monogram, Cressarrow trademark, presentation inscription on the inside, dated 1929 Signed: By Tiffany on case and dial Size: 46mm Accompaniments: Tiffany fitted leather box Fußnoten Cressarrow, a crescent pierced by an arrow, was the trademark used by the jewelers Henry Blank & Co, Newark, NJ. Founded in the 1890's, they supplied fine jewelry to numerous firms and counted Tiffany & Co. as a major client. Their watches contained high grade Swiss movements such as that by C. H. Meylan in the present example.
