MAN RAY (1890-1976). [Cover title: To Be Continued Unnoticed.] Some Papers by Man Ray in connection with his exposition December 1948. Beverly Hills [California]: Copley Galleries, 1948. One of 125 copies that include a signed portrait by the artist (this is copy number 68). This catalogue accompanied one of Man Ray's most important exhibitions in the United States. The Copley Galleries operated in Beverly Hills for only a short time, from c.1948-49. It was Noma and William Copley who would introduce Rosalind Gersten Jacobs to Man Ray. From a total edition of 275 copies. 4to (305 x 225mm). 16 pp., including text and 7 reproductions, printed on pink and yellow paper, loose in yellow and blue printed paper wrappers (wrappers lightly faded and toned, some light wear at corners). [With:] Signed lithograph by Man Ray. 255 x 154mm (sight), numbered 68/125, matted and framed.
