It was not produced in porcelain, initially because of the difficult economic situation and subsequently because Scheurich's relationship with the manufactory soured following the departure of Pfeiffer. In 1937, Wolfgang Müller von Baczko asked Scheurich to rework the figure and it was produced in porcelain in time for the Leipzig Autumn Fair in 1937. Only one sale in 1942 is recorded.
