Outlines in Lithography, from a Small Collection of Pictures. Yarmouth: for Private Circulation, 1840. Folio (378 x 270 mm). [4], 94, [4] pp. 51 lithographed plates. Original blind-stamped cloth lettered in gilt, top edge gilt. Occasional foxing, heavier at ends, sunning to spine and cloth edges. Provenance: Duke of Bedford (armorial Woburn Abbey library bookplate). ONE OF 100 COPIES, A FAMILY PRODUCTION. Turner and his wife Mary wrote the explanatory text and the drawings are by two of their daughters. Turner purchased the Old Master pictures depicted mostly at auction, included are works by Hobbema, Poussin, Rubens, Titian and Leonardo.
