TWO BÖTTGER CHINOISERIE TWO-HANDLED BEAKERS AND TWO MEISSEN SAUCERS painted with Orientals at various pursuits, taming a snake, holding an arrow, stirring a cauldron, tending a steaming kettle, bringing tea to his companion while a child plays and another taking tea while his companion trains a bird within gilt and iron-red scroll cartouches with lustre panels, the rims with interlocking bands of gilt scrolls and flowerheads (one beaker with two pieces broken and repaired and associated crack and a restored rim chip and associated cracks, very minor rubbing to gilt rims), gilder's numerals 15. to all pieces, Pressnummer 2 to one saucer and incised O to the other, the beakers circa 1725, the saucers circa 1740 (4)
