TWO BÖTTGER HAUSMALEREI SAUCERS CIRCA 1720-25, THE DECORATION CONTEMPORARY Decorated in Schwarzlot and gilding in the Breslau workshop of Ignaz Preissler with hunting scenes after engravings by Antonio Tempesta , one with two figures pursuing an ostrich on horseback with hounds, another figure on foot holding the bird by a rope, in a desert landscape with palm trees, the other with huntsmen in two boats with muskets, gathering ducks into a net by the riverbank with dogs, observed by figures on the bank nearby (second saucer with slight chipping to rim at 5 o'clock and minute chip at 10 o'clock, both with areas of wear to enamels and slight wear to gilding) 4½ in.
