TWO CHESS PAWNS OF MILITARY NATURE, TWO POTTERY PLATES, AND OTHER ITEMS The first two early 19th Century The first two items both in the form of a small bust of a soldier in European uniform and wearing a shako (one chipped), in a small glazed case; the two plates respectively depicting a Russian and a British Dragoon in uniform of circa 1815, with captions; together with forty-three buttons of a military or official nature (of various nationalities) including three Austrian buttons, four Napoleon III arms buttons (one damaged), and four small buttons of the Royal Scots Greys; a small number of loose metal plates from various patterns of chinscales, with a chin-chain for a British Guards bearskin; three small metal badges, two of them relating to British regiments; and a 20th century reproduction of a Confederate States soldier's waistbelt clasp The first two 1¾in. high (122)
